Spring Cleaning

It’s that time of year again….

   History suggests that spring cleaning can be traced back well over 3,000 years ago to the celebration of the Persian New Year, Nowruz.

   Before the vacuum cleaner was invented, spring cleaning in North America and Europe was often done when the temperature warmed, but not too late in the season lest they wanted bugs in their homes. In Spring, windows could be opened so some of the dust that was kicked up from a thorough cleaning would be swept away with the spring breeze. ….BeeBop’s theory is that us Great Plains folk “spring” out of winter hibernation; we want to unburden ourselves of junk and reset our homes in preparation for a great summer.

BeeBop was happy to help Marie F from Little Canada do some spring cleaning today. She asked if BeeBop could haul additional items away. The answer is almost always, “yes”. With the exception to few items like grenades or rockets, BeeBop will always try to sort out a solution for your unwanted items!
